email links not working
Hi forumotion
I have my own domain set up to point at my forum. All works as it should. Except that any email members receive directs them to the wrong address. It gets all the address right, but it just doesn't add the www. at the beginning of the link. So I look at my forum, and it says my domain is cb500club.co.uk
How do I make it so that it is www.cb500club.co.uk?
Cheers!

Thanks for your replies
I assume you mean this part of the admin area?

This is where it is telling me that the forum domain is cb500club.co.uk I just deleted it, and put it in as www.cb500club.co.uk and it strips away the www.

Re: email links not working
Hello,
If I understood this correctly, the forum's URL included in the emails sent to users isn't the current URL ?

Hi Leeloo
The URL given in emails is correct. But for some reason it keeps taking off the www. at the beginning of the URL. It has to be typed in manually each time someone gets a link.
In the domain section of the admin panel, it states that the domain is cb500club.co.uk when it should be www.cb500club.co.uk BUT if I delete it and put in the correct address, it automatically strips away the www. part of the domain.
Re: email links not working
OK, thanks for the informations.
You should review your configuration. It seems that only the subdomain www.cb500club.co.uk is configured to redirect to your forum but not the domain name cb500club.co.uk .
When this will be done, it will solved the problem for the error page you get. On our side, we are trying to fix the error for the emails and the Admin Panel.
Thanks

Re: email links not working
Not quite sure what you mean...
Where do I do this? Is it in the forumotion admin or my domain provider? So are you saying that I need to have both www.cb500club.co.uk and cb500club.co.uk pointing to my forum?

Re: email links not working
No, sorry, I realized that I wasn't really clear in my last post.
Your domain name cb500club.co.uk has to point to www.cb500club.co.uk (which already points to your forum) then it should works fine
This change has to be done in the configuration with your registrar, not in Forumotion.
Thanks !!
