Ask Forumotion forum

Post by Derri on June 3rd 2012, 2:55 pm

Well currently if we need to ask a question about the terms of service or about these forums (Forumotion support). We have to create a topic in the "other support" section however this is supposed to be about Forum support for our forums.

So this forum could be used to ask questions about
Terms of Service
How these forums operates
Questions to the staff
Certain aspects of this forum

Because currently if we have any questions about the English Speaking Support Forum we have to ask in one of the support sections where topics about the forums we own and this forum are mixed together.

For the terms of service, you can ask that on the 'other problems's section.

How these forums operates
Why not just create a topic on the Forum discussions?

Questions to the staff
Can be done on PM.

Certain aspects of this forum
Can be done on the 'Forum Discussions' forum.

I don't see any need of a new forum for this.

Well would it not keep it all together and make it easier to search for answers like this if it is all in one place.

'Forum Discussions' forum was actually known as General Discussion Forum earlier. However, we started to get random threads being opened like Happy Birthday etc, so to avoid the randomness & to have a discussion forum we renamed it. So, this Forum Discussions is just for discussions & not for support questions.

Hence, any queries related to Forumotion can go into Other Problems because thats where staff will answer your problems.

Hope you understand now Wink

I don't see why we can't bring back the Only topic, which was called "Questions for forumotion", alleviates the need for always opening a new thread. *shrugs*

Voted in favor.

Wow, it isn't specific enough? Wow, it's like a more organized thread isn't it? Just something like: http://help.forumotion.com/t76758-only-topic-questions-about-reviews

You can also ask about the TOS on the support sections.

I'll lock this topic now. Wink
