Solved Group Name Appearing In Category On Forum

Post by kvance on June 8th 2012, 12:43 am

A few days ago I helped a friend create a forum that he can use on this site. After I showed him the basics I let him go at customizing everything. However when I went back I noticed for some reason one of the group categories, is actually visible in one of the forums, and completely clickable.

We can still both go to groups at the top and view them through the administration panel but, I just thought it was odd that that's actually in that spot, as I don't know how it could've gotten there. Is there a way it can be removed? Thanks to anyone that helps.

Hi, Hello

Do you want to change the Structure of the forum?

ACP >> Display >> Homapage >> Structure & Hierarchy >> Split categories on index : Medium.

Hi Smile
Try to add this code in your CSS Stylesheet (Admin panel -> Display -> Pictures and colors -> Colors -> CSS Stylesheet):

Code:
a.group-mod { display : none; }

I see, sorry ignore my post above.

Easier way, ACP >> Display >> Homapage >> Structure & Hierarchy >> Hierarchy >> Display forum moderators : NO

If you want to display only the members (without groups) use my method, but if you want to don't display all moderators use the Sir's method ^^
