Solved Gaming Community Sreadsheet

Post by Carpe_Mortis on June 16th 2012, 11:23 pm

How would you add a page within a forum called Member Roster? For instance I want to add a sheet that has different categories in a row, spaced out so they would be like a header. Then be able to fill in underneath them in columns.
Example: Name Time Zone Console Game Preference
John Pacific PS3 COD3
How would you do this?

The only way I could think of doing this would be to just create a table with enough rows and columns. Then fill in the information you need.

As I said above I don't think it's possible. You could create a table, name the rows and then add what you need to the columns. Then color it if you need to using codes for the table.

I typed in the items I wanted and used periods (.) and under scores (_) to hold the typed items in their place. Unless I used the periods and under scores the typed items would not hold their positions much like my first post items above.

Example: Name_______Game_________Country______
...........John.............Hopscotch........Canada...........etc.

Thanks I hope this helps others.

You can use a table to do that though.

Code:
[table border="2"]
[tr]
[td]Name [/td][td]Timezone[/td][td]Console[/td][td]Gaming Preference[/td]
[/tr][tr]
[td]John [/td][td] Pacific[/td][td]PS3[/td][td]COD[/td]
[/tr][tr]
[td]name here  [/td][td]time zone [/td][td]console[/td][td]preference[/td]
[/tr][tr]
[td]name here[/td][td]timezone[/td][td]console[/td][td]preference[/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

Comes out like

Name TimezoneConsoleGaming Preference
John PacificPS3COD
name here time zone consolepreference
name heretimezoneconsolepreference
