Giving Moderators & Non Owner Administrators Limited Access to Admin CP
Hello,
I am very confused on how to go about setting the limits for Moderator and Admin in the Admin CP. I only want them to be able to use certain areas of the Admin CP. What ways are there to do this?
Thanks in advance for all replies they really help

Only the original administrator group that is created when you create your forum has access to the administration panel.
There is no way to limit what the other administrators see in the administration panel. There are some sections that only the founder can see.

If that's the case then I guess only extremely trusted people can be administrators, then does that make being a moderator useless with no power other than closing/deleting threads?

Moderators have moderating power on the forum only. They can ban members, close, move. or deleted topics or posts, and create announcements or stickies. For some of these, you have to set them in the administration panel.
