How to change an information box using code

Hi

If a guest currently clicks on a link to a an attachment they get a page that says

Information
You haven't got the rights to download this file

Is there any way to change this so it advises the user to register. Can I edit this in the code lines somewhere ?

You'd have to edit it using Javascript. If no one else finds a solution, I'll psot a code.

All you have to do is change the permissions for the attachments to allow guests to download attachments.
Administration Panel > General > Forum > Categeories & Forums

Hi thanks for response however I don't want guests downloading. I'd like to change it so that the message is updated to advise that it's members only and they should register.
