What does a blog let me do that normal category can't? why should I use blogs ?

thanks, however I still don't understand what it difference than normal forum. Also in normal forum someone can publish info and people can comment

Basically it is how they look that is the difference.

What the blog setting will do is when in the forum it will show most if not all of the post before you click to see it.

It can make it look a lot better if you use it for a lot of posts like news on your forum or a notice board
