Search Members Module

Post by nextlevelgaming on June 27th 2012, 12:25 am

So after long time of trying to find a code for something else I found a code that may help other novice members out. Its an easy Search Module, step by step instructions...

Firstly go to ACP> then click Modules> then goto Forum Widgets

Once here click Create New widget

Widget Name=What ever you want for your reference

Table= NO

No table name

then the html is

Code:

<form action="/memberlist" method="get">
         <table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" class="forumline" width="100%">

               <tr>
                  <th class="thTop" nowrap="nowrap">
                     Find a user or modify list order</th>
               </tr>
               <tr>
                  <td class="row1">
                     <table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2" class="genmed">

                           <tr>
                              <td width="100%">
                                 Username<input class="post" maxlength="25" name="username" size="20" type="text" value="" />Sort by<select name="mode"><option selected="selected" value="lastvisit">Last visit</option><option value="joined">Join date</option><option value="username">Username</option><option value="interests">Humor</option><option value="posts">Posts</option><option value="website">Website</option><option value="groups">Usergroups</option></select>Order<select name="order"><option value="">Ascending</option><option selected="selected" value="DESC">Descending</option></select><input class="liteoption" name="submit" type="submit" value="Ok" /></td>
                           </tr>

No sure if all is needed but I grabbed this info and it worked for me quite fine. Save it then place in either left container or right container.
