Solved Banner Problem

Post by chasuk on July 2nd 2012, 12:35 pm

After selecting a theme, I decided to replace the banner, creating an image of exactly correct dimensions and exactly identical background color. I uploaded the image. Upon viewing the page, the banner appears in a lighter shade.

Can anyone explain how to fix this?

Thank you very much.

"Lighter shade" as in the color of my newly-created banner appears in a lighter shade than the background color of the forum, but they shouldn't, as I have carefully matched the colors.

I matched them by matching the hex color codes during the creation phase, and then comparing them visually on three different PC's under three different browsers. They are definitely different, I promise. :-)

Thanks for your help.

Maybe you should try saving the logo as a transparent image without a background , since right now your image has a different background color than your current forum background.
