i have had a member who cannot join our forum, i think its his email address.
most ppl email is personal but his is a website email address and it will not acept him, saying it is invalid, but we know it is valid email addres, i realy need this member to join becase he is part of our team, any ideas?

Hi can i ask you has this Email address got anything like __ Help, Info, Admin, Boss or something like that in it ??

If this has this info our sys will not let them use that Email address

But you could make there account for them and then change the Email address in the ACP
This should work for them

just put any address in then get a admin

to active the account

then go to his profile in the admin panel and change email address to the right one

You can do this: ACP > Users & Groups > Users options > New account activation: Automatic activation... when your friend have registered set this option as this: New account activation - User... that's all... enjoy
