auto prune different sections into archives.

Post by Flappypaddles on July 17th 2012, 12:32 pm

At the moment the auto prune option can be used to move old threads into the basket.
would it be possible to have an option on each section to move older threads without replies in x amount of days into their own archive sections.
so each section could have a sub section for the archived threads and old topics would be automatically sent there at time decided by the admin.

At the moment I do something similar using the auto prune but it means changing the basket settings and editing each section individually and waiting a day.

alternatively can the auto prune be forced to happen by the administrator?

I get it, its more like adding a sub-forum wherever & with the auto prune feature we can send the topics after say x days as is currently possible.

Its a great idea, voted yes Wink

I don't suppose this has gone any further up the chain of command?
