Solved Help with post number look in Invision.....

Post by splff3000 on July 30th 2012, 10:00 pm

Is it possible to change the look of the post number in Invision? Right now it looks like this;

I would like to get rid of that Post n*1 and have it looking like this:

I would also like to make it a link to that post as well if it's possible.

Actually I know it's possible because I've seen another site with it changed. I just need to know what the CSS code or Javascript is to change it and make it a link. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. Also, please look into the other issue I posted about here: http://help.forumotion.com/t112541-navigation-links-on-the-bottom-of-the-forum#737077

Also the second site is phpBB3, not Invision.

Read this:

Thanks, I tried the method shown on that site to no avail. I'm pretty sure that's because I'm using Invision. I'd rather not switch to phpBB3 just for this. I would like to have the page numbering like the example I've shown, but it isn't worth re-doing the site again. If anyone knows how to accomplish this for invision, I'd be very appreciative.

This should work:
Code:
$(function() {
    var x=$('.postbody-head'), i = 0, l = x.length;
    for (; i<l; i++)  {
      var y = $('.post-info', x[i])[0];
      var num = y.lastChild.innerHTML;
      var z = x[i].getElementsByTagName('h3')[0].getElementsByTagName('a')[0];
      num = num.replace(/Post n./, '<a href="'+z.href+'"><strong>#');
      y.lastChild.innerHTML = num + '</strong></a>';
    }
});
Didn't test it, just assuming based on an old code.
