Solved Possible to enable HTML for all users?

Post by Alexander Moore on August 1st 2012, 9:37 am

I'm using HTML for writing some announcements and so forth. Is it possible to enable HTML for all users by default, or do I really need to go in and do it all manually for each new user?

Edit : If not, is there BBcode for making tables with background images?

You can not set it as for all members. They will have to set it themselves in their profiles.

Solved Re: Possible to enable HTML for all users?

I already did the enabling HTML part.

So there's no code or anything I can add to work around this? Sad

If so, then I'm going to guess that it's not editable for security reasons...

Okay, so let's make my HTML into BBcode then.

I already deleted my HTML so instead I'm going to go to the Rules page here and copy it's HTML :

Code:
<table style="padding: 2px; -moz-border-radius: 10px" class="forabg" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="1" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td align="left" style="padding-bottom: 3px" class="table-title">Important Announcement</td></tr><tr><td align="left" style="padding: 5px; -moz-border-radius: 10px" class="row1" width="100%"><table style="border: 1px solid #007295; table-layout:fixed; width: 100%;" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td align="left" style="background-image: url('http://i15.servimg.com/u/f15/11/95/92/91/fa1010.png'); background-repeat: no-repeat;" width="152" height="100"></td><td align="left" style="background: url('http://i62.servimg.com/u/f62/09/02/12/09/repet10.png'); padding-bottom: 15px;"><div style="margin:auto;text-align:center;width:100%"><span style="font-size: 20px; line-height: normal"><font color="#1675BC"><strong>ForuMotion Rules</strong></font></span></div><br></td><td align="left" style="background-image: url('http://i15.servimg.com/u/f15/11/95/92/91/09610110.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat;" width="84"></td></tr></tbody></table><table style="border-left: 1px solid #007295; border-right: 1px solid #007295; border-bottom: 1px solid #007295; table-layout:fixed; width: 100%;" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td align="left" style="padding: 5px; background-color: #F7F7F7;"><br><br><div align="justify">This board is here for support and help between the users of Forumotion, Forumactif's English version. Now, I'm only interested in changing the table parts into BBcode. The rest I know how to work with.

Could I please have a translation of this in BBcode? It would be very appreciated.

Once I have that translation I can apply what I've learned to my own tables.

Note : I do not have HTML enabled here so those tables must be written in BBcode and then translated to HTML in the system. I'm guessing that's what BBcode essentially is - inputting BBcode will translate into a range of "Allowed" HTML codes, for each of which there is a BBCode.

Thanks, now I can just edit that code with my own graphics.

Yeah I have trouble using the search tool but I'm probably half-arsing it (giving up before trying the more advanced searches like using quotes). I'll try harder, haha.
