Username Already Registered

Hi,

I'm having problems with my new board; some members can register no problem but others are being told that the username is already taken.

This is not possible as the board is brand new and I only have 5 members.

Maybe their username is too long or too short but I can't find a way to alter this in the admin panel.

Please help!

It is possible actually (i think) maybe he is trying to make his username the same as someone else in your forum hope this helped

Definitely not possible.

I have 3 new members with the same problem, all using unique usernames.

Sometimes, the usernames most used by spammers are blocked.

What was the username ?

One of the usernames was TUG

Same happens on my forum and i have 47 members

It isn't related to the number of users but to the username chosen.
