Okay. Go to the user and click on his name and look at the URL and get the number u1 or whatever number it has. Then add this
Code:
a[href="/uNUMBER GOES HERE"]{
  color: #COLOR HEX !important;

to the Cascading Style-sheet change the NUMBER GOES HERE number to whatever number he is and the change the COLOR HEX to the color you want by putting the code(NUMBERS) you want his name to be.

If the member is in a group, the group color will override the code.

When you add someone to a group, that color will override any code that you add to change the color of that member's username.

What they're saying is that you can only color member's name if they're NOT in a group. So regular members. No staff

Hmm could you provide a link to where you seen it? I have tried that two, but it only shows up when i remove that person from the group.

The reason as slg said and others may of said is the group color is already in place if you want it so that a different color shows disable color users name for that name. And then try it. That is the only thing i can think of.
