Free photo slideshow for my forum
I am looking for a free photo slideshow for my forum and until now I only found some that need credits.
I also tried "picassa" and wasn't so thrilled about it..
Any ideas?

Re: Free photo slideshow for my forum
Try photobucket, You can create slideshows there with numerous different design frames and presentations to choose from. You need to create an account and upload your pics, then you can create the slideshow and copy the embed code to your forum.
http://photobucket.com/
Or you can create a video slideshow with windows movie maker on your pc and upload it to youtube or photobucket, then copy the embed code.
Edit: Heres another good free slideshow maker and host. This is what you are probably looking for:

I will try photobucket and check back here.
I would ask the Admins/Mods not to lock this topic, until I find a suitable program.
Edit: Works very nice!
Only problem is, it has a 100 photos limit.
Will do!
Thank you for your help runawayhorses!

You're welcome!
For the record that other one at photosnack is indeed free although they may also have paid accounts. I am using that one myself for a page I have, and I didn't pay a dime..

Maybe I had to pay because I also wanted music in it..
Was there a limit for the photos?

Re: Free photo slideshow for my forum
No, no limit for the photos. I added music to mine also, but not with there player and not in the video slide itself. Take a look:

It gave me a limit of 100 photos (I have almost 600)
If I want to pass the limit... I have to pay...

Re: Free photo slideshow for my forum
Yes I just read 100 photos per slideshow limit. I wasn't aware of that as I only have 90 or so. I also read where you can create more than 1 slideshow, so you could alternatively create multiple slideshows and get all 600 pics uploaded. But you might not want more than 1 slideshow. One other solution like I mentioned before is create a slideshow on your computer using windows movie maker, then upload the video to youtube or photobucket. You of course have no limit to the size video you make with that program. If you are a new to youtube and havent uploaded many videos before you will have a 15 minute time limit on videos you can upload, in other words your video can't have a duration longer than 15 minutes. Other members that have been there a long time (years) and have uploaded many videos and have a good clean record can upload videos at any length. I can upload any length video I want. But 600 pics like you want to make might take over 15 minutes to view. You just have to watch the movie maker program and make sure it doesn't exceed 15 minutes if you are limited at youtube as to the length of videos you can upload.
Photobucket has a more extreme length limit, they have a 10 minute video length you can upload. If your videos are longer than that it will be cut off at 10 minutes duration. Even if you're a paying member. YouTube is the way to go for video, and it doesn't cost anything either.
