How can I make a group that can edit Member Profiles?

I made my moderators group a moderator for all my forums and I don't that user to have that previlidge so how can I make a group or even just that user able to modify profile fields, specifically the character sheet? The reason is I created a shop in my forum and when a user buys something this person has to edit their Character sheet in his/her profile and take away the amount of money it cost to buy the item and add the item in his/her "trunk". How can I do this?

P.S. sorry for all these questions I continue to post, I promise I don't go looking for them, they just hit me everywhere I go!

Do you mean Forum as in a categorized forum or forum as in the whole website?

edit: it won't work. I made a user a moderator for a forum under a category and he is only able to modify the comments profile field and a custom field that I created. I specifically need them to moderate the RPG/Character sheets for a person's profile.

edit; I think you mean the "modifiable by the member"? I don't want this because then they can edit their amount of money to however much they want which wouldn't be necessary, haha. I all ready know how a member can edit his own profile field. I want to know how I can make a group that enables them to edit OTHER PEOPLES profile fields, specifically their character sheet (without accessing the acp)

I found out how to overcome this obstacle. All I needed to do was disable the field I wanted to create in the character sheet and I went ahead and just created it as a regular Profile Field under User and groups. Now I checked the box "Modifiable by moderators" and it works. Thank you all for everything.
