What will happen if a forum has been reported?

Hi I work as global Moderator for a gaming forum hosted by forumotion... and recently our forum admin alerted us that we had been reported. I was just curious the worst that can come of it. I have seen the site do no wrong doing. And I have been good freinds with our founder for some time, any tips I can give him to sort this?

If the litigation isn't considered as legitimate, nothing happens.
If it's a valid complaint, you receive a notification.

You can also receive a warning (if the forum has an illegal content) or be banned (if the forum is totally illegal).

If there's nothing illegal on your forum you don't have to fear to be reported by this user.
I remind that Online Guardian only takes action against illegal forums.

My forum has been accused of theft of BBcodes from another forum. I do not see how that is possible as I would have to see the code to "Steal" it. I have a friend who coded it for me and sent me the code to my email. I do not find that illegal. Please explain worst possible scenario for me, if you don't mind?

So if you received a notification, without getting a warning, you just have to answer to the litigation. Explain why these accusations are wrong and it will be OK.

How do I explain? I just got a "Reported Abuse" in my ACP and that is it. I am not sure what you mean by that. Can you explain?

If that was an abuse it's totally different.
An abuse is different than a litigation. It has no effect and this is sent only on your forum.

This is an abuse.
An abuse is sent by user that want to inform you of something or complain about something.

But Forumotion never gets a copy of it, so the admins of the forum are the only ones to see the abuses.

They don't have any effect.
I mean, if the users want to report a forum to Forumotion so that we can take action against it, they have to send a litigation, which is really different.
