Solved Domain Name Help

Post by BICKY1980 August 28th 2012, 2:01 am

Hello

Could you help with setting up my forumotion to work on my sub domain

I have changed all the neccessary settings with my domain provider, which have been confirmed as being correct, however when I try to enter the personalized address within the ACP It says
The supplied domain name is not well configured
Your CNAME must redirect to : boltonnutstest.forumotion.co.uk

Please could you assist?

You can use the following link to check the DNS settings

Solved Re: Domain Name Help

I had followed these steps, and had already set this up with my domain provider.

Just tried again and it worked...I also have another domain, which I need to set up the near enough exact same thing, but I have the same problem as already mentioned (I try to enter the sub domain into the personalized domain name, but get the error Your CNAME must redirect to : ******.forumotion.co.uk)

Please advise

Thanks

It has been over 72 hours - at the moment its redirecting me to a french version of your site...(http://forum.forumactif.com/)

I dont have CNAME management on the subdomain, so this is on the primary domain - This is how my domain provider told me to set it up
