Solved "Log In" Widget Question

Post by OnyxTech on September 3rd 2012, 11:41 pm

Hello, I was wondering how you can add more stats on the "Log In Widget".
And If not, I was wondering you can make a widget related to Log In, but with more stats?
Thanks.

Solved Re: "Log In" Widget Question

If you are trying to do this with a log in widget, would not really work. since the person has not logged in yet. if you are trying to make it so after login they see a different widget in that place this is possible. let me know

for showing something to logged out users these holders are

Code:
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_out -->
<!-- END switch_user_logged_out -->

to show something to only a logged in user code is

Code:
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying. I'm still kind of new to this.

If you are editing the html inside your widget, use this

Code:
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_out -->

CODE GOES INSIDE HERE

<!-- END switch_user_logged_out -->

and if you have a code you want to show logged in users use this

Code:
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->

CODE GOES INSIDE HERE

<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->

Now for having stats, i'm not sure if it is completely possible. I'll look into it closer.

He means the forumotion log in widget that displays info about the logged in user. He wants to add more to it. The HTML of it is inaccessible.
