I know that you can set up a PM to go to new members on your forum, but is there a way to have that sent as an email instead? We've gotten a flood of new people on the forums but I don't know if they know how to check their PM's and I think it would be easier to have the welcome post go to their email.

I don't think there is a option for that in the admin panel.
