I thin you have to go to ACP->Display->Pics Managment and leave the Background form blank,and then add this in your css

Code:

/*By George "Proxy*64*" Kosmas*/body{background-color:#;}

no doesn't work as you can see in my forum => http://apple-genius.forumgreek.com i have to backgrounds the first is the big one with the green and blue color and the second one is the smaller with white colour. I want the second one with the white colour to be invisible.

Note: when i finished my forum i saw that i could change the theme of the forum to have onle 1 background but all the work i have done on my forum will be lost, so is not easy. I want only to put a code to be the second background invisible.

You might try this:

Look in AP>>Display>>Colors>>

On that page find:

Background color 1
Background color 2
Background color 3

And remove the background hex color code in one of them or all of them and leave it blank. If its a pure white color the code will look like this:

#FFFFFF

Just remove the code and leave it blank and save your settings.

i tried it but nothing happened can you be more specific or if is the wrong way?

Edit: there isn't any way with CSS code to remove it completly?

Well technically one of those backgrounds 1 2 3 should have changed it, but it could be a CSS code in your strylesheet is overriding it. So you will need to look in your stylesheet for a code like this:

Code:
background-color:#ffffff;

And remove the ffffff

so it looks like this:

Code:
background-color:#;

The problem is finding the right one. If you're lucky you'll only see one code like that, but its possible there will be more than one. You could experiment changing each one to until you hit the right one.

Other than that you can wait until someone can give you another code that will have an "important" tag on it that you can add that will override the one you have now. If it were me I would experiment with it until I found the right one, it depends on how comfortable you are messing around in the css stylesheet. If you do attempt to change it, I would recommend copying the code you're going to change before you change it so you can put it back as it was if it doesn't work so you can try another code.

Go to AP>>Display>>Colors>>

On that page click the CSS stylesheet tab at the top.

I want to point out another thing, if you stumble upon the right one that controls the correct background you're wanting to change by removing the hex color numbers, instead of leaving the ffffff out, you can change it so it looks like this, it would actually be better with the transparent tag. I might even cause it to actually work.

Code:
background-color: transparent;

Well like I said before delete the #ffffff and save your settings.

I thought it would have been 1 2 or 3.

Ok then, add this code to your CSS stylesheet.

Go to AP>>Display>>Colors>>CSS stylesheet. Put it at the bottom of the stylesheet so you can find it again in case it doesn't work.

Code:
    #wrap {
    background: transparent !important;
    }

If that doesn't work try this:

Code:
    .bodyline {
        background: transparent !important;
    }
