Hi,

To check your Version: ACP >> Display >> Choose a theme >> Version. To be sure, before we starting giving you codes that don't even work. Razz

I've posted the link just now. Sorry, it didn't occur to me to post it, lol.

Again, the link is mamayahoo.forumotion.com

And I checked via ACP >> Display >> Choose a theme >> Version and I see a tick mark on the phbbp 3.. so I guess that's my version.

Plz help! Thx!

Hi,

Are you talking about the empty area that you have in between both the Navigation & the Board (Forum)?

I think so. Do you notice that slightly grey area? Refer to first post, where I circled the area with a red pen.

Hi find this in your CSS

Code:
.navbar {
    background-color: #FAFAFA;
}

And replace it with this

Code:
.navbar {
    background-color: #FFFFFF !Important;
}

If your CSS is empty then just paste the second part into the CSS and your grey bar should disappear. If you can't find it and you have CSS then just place .navbar into the search function and replace the corresponding parts. to get to the css you go to.

ACP>Display>Colors>Css tab.

Making it transparent might be the way to go should they ever decide to change the color around it or add a image background, so it doesn't reappear again, that's assuming it is indeed the navbar background:

Code:
.navbar {
background: transparent !important;
}

Makes sense, I used Firebug to locate the CSS and changed the Navbar to white and it removed the grey so fingers crossed it whats causing the problem. Your right about the transparent.

So

find this in your CSS

Code:
.navbar {
    background-color: #FAFAFA;
}

and replace with this

Code:
.navbar {
background: transparent !important;
}

and that should solve the issue, fingers crossed XD.

I just downloaded firebug, wow that extension is awesome!!

Yes you are correct it is the navbar background, I did a test too with firebug and changed its color to black to make sure, and it is no doubt the navbar background color.

This extension is going to come in very handy in helping people and helping myself with codes. Thanks for the idea. Smile

Well, I couldn't find that code to replace it with, but I added that transparent code to the end of my CSS and voila! That grey area is gone =]

You guys are amazing!!!

One last thing, is there a way for me to save my layout in case, like you said, the creator changes it? I like this layout the way it is... Do I need to save all the images associated with it? Sorry I'm like a layout dummie.

Keep it as .bbtheme? When I tried to open the file, windows says it cannot open. Normal?

If I ever mess up for lose something, I can import it back in and it will be the same as it is now?

Yeah keep it as it is, when you import it back it will keep the pics and settings. It does not keep widgets and javascript. But that will back up your theme as it is when you do it.
