i can only managed to do male or female on my forum, i'd also like to add undefined because some people on forums prefer to be more on the anonymous side.

Well, you will need to make another profile field for that. With another image.

Yes you can, go to AP>>Display>>Pics management>>

On that page click the "Mini-icons" tab, on that page you can remove the male and female icons.

Also you can go to AP>>Users & Groups>>Profiles>>

On that page find "Gender" and click the yellow icon associated with that profile field, and you can UN-tick display in profile and messages, you can also remove the name "Gender". And you can also under "Necessarily filled" select "NO", and save your settings.
