I want to increase the size of the forum columns TOPICS and POSTS. How do I do this?

Exactly. The columns are all scrunched up on the left leaving no room for the cell contents.

I don't know what the URL is. I selected it from the browser in the Admin area. It's on page 18.

Its better to install the skin directly from hitskin.com instead of adding it via the admin panel. I believe, that is the reason why it seems to have a problem.
