Adding homepage before forum?

Is it possible to code and add a homepage that is displayed before the forum? Like I way when people go to my site, www.InformationKeptQuiet.com, that it goes to a homepage with some videos and logos and designs and such, and on that page there will be a link that says "View The Forum", which would then take them to the forum part of my site. Which would be like forum.informationkeptquiet.com or something like that.


Is this done through adding HTML pages through admin panel? Or how would I do this.
