Solved Moderator without edit/delete permission

Post by rayn on September 30th 2012, 11:19 pm

Hello. Is it possible to only allow moderators the ability to Move threads, and restrict them from potentially harmful actions like Edit/Delete?

Thank you

Hi,

No it's not possible to do that. But, it can be a rule for the staff. If you don't really trust your Staff Members actions, you can do the following: ACP >> General >> Security >> Scoll all the way at the bottom, "last actions."

Attention!
- Please provide your forum URL at all times.
- When the issue is solved, please mark it as solved.

I don't think it can be done with Forumotions default options, but I believe you can do it via coding.

Edit: Chivas, this is the 2nd time you posted right before I did. I will beat you one day.

I wouldn't call it solved - but if it isn't possible then there is no reason to keep this thread open.

Thanks everyone for your input.
