Can't Change Profile

Hi,

We are not able to change our member's profiles as moderators and administrators. Our only way to do this is to access their profiles through the Administration Panel. We really need our moderators and administrators to be able to change profiles the easy way. The problem here is that we can open the field to edit it, but we can't click on the validation button to confirm it. We've been having this problem for over a year. How can we make our validation button work again?

this hsould be in with your advanced profile feild settings. then you need to have it set to who can change the field>>set to moderators.
Wich profile filed is that exactly?

It's already set on moderators but nobody is able to change it through the profile, not even admins, unless we change their profile from the admin panel. It's a new field created by us called jewels, but this problem goes for every field. We can click on 'edit field value' but we can't click on 'validate' to validate the changes.

and this is on the profile page ofthe meber right?
I amnot home right now so cant really check out all the settings.
I am thinking it has to be how you have it set but really will now be able to tell untill i try a few things on my test forum to make sure you have it set up right.

Other then that you may have to request sanket go in and chceck it out for you or another moderatror, this will require you to make a temp admin account and send sanket a request asking him if he can go in and look with the user name and pass.. then once he is finshed you can delete the account or just change the pass.

BE SURE NOT TO POST PASS HERE IN THE OPEN, You have to message sanket or other mod and ask>>sen user and pass..

However i woild like to save that for a last option, once again i cant be sure until i can go through the settings on one of my test forums.

Yes, this is on the profile page of the member. Mods and admins can't validate changes in them.

In your advanced profile field settings, you should have the following selected.

Type either text or text zone i belive.

name whatever it is,
decription whatever you like
url icon, your choice if you want one?

Necessarily filled ? NO

Display : profile

Who can modify the profile field value ? Moderators

Display this field for users that are at least : Moderators

then for text field default content it's up to you if you want something in there or not ?

Max length : also up to you for what you want to set it at.
i usally just put 9999999 to have enough room to add whatever may be needed. samething for text zone, basically how you want it.

Can we know if this happened since you installed a new skin or placed new codes on your forum?

Unfortunately, this problem has been around for a year. We have no idea when this happened. We've put up a new skin but the problem is still there.

How about with the templates? Please provide a link to your forum.

I'm using PhPbb3 so I can't change the templates. The url is www.fairytailrp.com
