In progress Removing ads from login screen

Post by captaingrante October 20th 2012, 4:27 pm

Hello!

I have already paid for ads to be removed for members, but that still leaves the not-so-pretty ads on the login screen (which I guess technically guests can see).

Is there a way for me to remove the ads from the login screen as well? Or does that mean I have to pay for no ads for members AND guests (even though guests can't access the forum?) If so, how do I go about just paying for the remainder?

Sorry it wasn't clear. They're not different ads.

So before I paid anything, it was:

Login screen - ads
Home screen after login - ads

After I paid for no ads for members, it became:

Login screen - ads
Home screen after login - no ads

In reality, I want to have members see no ads at all, but if that includes the login screen as well, I probably have to pay for no ads for members AND guests (even though I have no guests), right?

Before members log in, they are guests. Yes to remove ads completely for members, you have to buy the option for Members & Guests.

Okay, thanks.

So, if I've already paid for the members part, how do I pay for only the remaining "guests" part?

As it appears in the admin panel, now it would be for members & guests both.

For how much time did you buy it for members? If its a month, then just wait it out & spend the credits for members & guests after that one expires.

Well, i suppose then there is no way. How many credits is it for the Members & Guests Option?

Okay, so basically I'd have to pay double? There's no way to just pay the difference?

Yes. What's displayed on the option in the admin panel is what you have to pay for to remove the ads.
