Solved Resizing Avatar

Post by Kaizer Lee on October 26th 2012, 7:40 am

What code should I put in for the avatars to be resized WHEN it's an offline avatar and not an uploaded one from the computer?

And how do I make all avatars in all categories size 200 by 150? Including uploaded, offline, etc?

Avatars with png format, like my avatar in this forum (help.forumotion.com). It's actually 235 by 280 but it was resized here. So how?

Well, my primary concern is how the offline avatar got resized no matter how big it was since the original size is bigger than that of the standard here. So how do I do that? Does it have to do with the CSS or some code like this?

Code:

#profile_avatar {
    width: 201px;
    height: 280px;
}

I will say I would like to know the answer to this as well. I have a User on my Forum with a Avatar picture size of 230 X 216 and it is messing with the Board Size and pushing the Text all the way more to the right.

I was going to ask this question but seeing how someone else is asking this I would like to know as well like him and I know when he said off line he is saying Uploaded Images from the Computer.

When a Person upload there personal images onto the Forum as their avatar and it is larger then what you want it to be.

Code:
.poster-profile > a img {max-width:150px}

If I'd like to add a maximum height, would this look like this?

Code:
.poster-profile > a img {max-width:201px; max-height:180px}
