Wait, so let's get this straight, you want pictures for each categories and forums??

If it's that what you want to do, please follow these steps:

ACP < General < Categories and Forum < Image Link < Put the link of the picture in it < Save

Though, you can also put it in the description area, but it has to have an <img src="IMG LINK" /> code

I do not want to class but to make matters ie when a subject which contains a picture of what appears to be a preview in the class but without opening the issue that when you enter the category to see the topic title and next to the thumbnail image in the contained within the subject

Sorry but we are having trouble understanding what you are trying to say. Try using a translator or post screenshots of what you want.

Since it is vBulletin it has more power than forumotion.com

Though I'm sure it can be done with some scripting, not positive though about scripting from another page. This can be done if you are making the Topics, you can post that image in the CATEGORY/TOPIC IMAGE; and post same image in the topic post....

Other than that really, not sure if this is 100% able to be done on forumotion, without php and other offsite resourcing

The only thing I can really do is how to make avatars appear on the forum using javascript and some coding (Last poster avatar, that is). But yeah, you might wanna try finding other websites to ask for help like that, like avacweb or something.
