Solved Chatbox confusion

Post by Apollonia on November 22nd 2012, 12:41 am

Hi everyone.

Strangest thing, when I log in my forum is lovely. When everyone logs in, they see little to no content. The chatbox is not visible. I made a member an administrator, then he could see it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi,

Can you please provide the URL of your forum? Thank you! Also, quick question: is it the default Forumotion's chat-box? Or Fm Chat?

I am using FM chat, I think.

When I sign in, it looks exactly the way I want, with the Chat box in the center.

When I sign in as a test user it is not there.

Thanks!

Then, do what Frances mentioned above:
ACP < Modules < Forum Widget Management < FM Chat < Permissions < to members < Save.

I just want the chatbox to be front and center when they log on, like it is when I do. It doesn't matter if it is Chatbox or FM Chat.

Thanks!

In your css for the fm chat code, put a position: center on it.

I just switched to Chatbox and made it take up most of the page. It is fine for what I need it for. Thanks for your help.
