Is it possible to remove this image on the forum basket since the topics in this forum are unused, patched, and not working or not proven?

http://prntscr.com/kfo6t

I hope it can be done with CSS or optimizing Template .

You can do it with javascript. Don't know why you really need to though. Just leave it be. It'll look funny if you do that my friend. Just lock it up so no one can type any more messages in it.

Or have it invisible to moderators or administrators only via admin panel by setting the following:

ACP < Generals < Categories and Forums < Basket < Permission < Settings to administrators or moderators only < Save

Edit: Note, the numbers will still show, but once you've hidden the thing, only the set people can see it Smile and it'll prevent your normal members from posting or even looking at it Smile.

This is for all.

I mean is they can read and view but can't reply and I've done it.
I just want to remove that part TOPIC & POSTS in that section only since the topics in that section are not truly made in that section.

Since I experimented a lot, I found another way ._.

Anyway, if it's okay with you, hide the forum using a hide tag and then create another basket and make sure it's locked and have them all think that that's the basket you use while the real basket is hidden and the thing you use.

Please don't double/triple post. Your post need to be separated by 24 hours before bumping, replying or adding more information. Please use the edit button instead. 3rd reminder which turns into warning.

I suppose this is solved? Smile

I really do not believe there is a way to hide just one forum's topic/view columns.

Well, I think there's a possibility by declaring a name in the templates and then having it as a function for the value in the Javascript, but it's highly unlikely it'll work because I've done it in a test forum and the values for all my forums disappeared e.e, thus, making me delete the code and never to use and remember the bit of 'em again e.e

Anywho, that's about the only solution I can provide since it does hide the basket and then you can have the real one be the real direction and the fake one locked and unable to have someone post in it, just pm a moderator or a an admin that you can't post there so they'd be informed.

Well, here's a conclusion I've actually worked up. I've messed with the template once more and it's in the viewforum_body.

Anyway, here's what I've been thinking, the forum Basket must have a variable or whatever set in the template as a subject after this:

Code:

            //
               var url_newposts = '{U_NEWPOSTS_JS_PLUS_MENU}';

And then have it interconnected through a javascript with the false and true or no and yes (Seriously crappy with JS so dunno the var) and have it there.

Later on, accessing the Generals and then categories and forum for the hide tag stated and then afterwards accessing the CSS to have the placement with it and then adding a specific code for a hover that will have it disappear or have it replaced by a transparent image which you can make or request with the graphic designs section.

Code:
background-image:url ('');}

With that as posted in the CSS to hide the 0 and 0, having the code as doubled with different ID since you are going to hide 2 ID's in it and then finally, having the section locked.

The problems with these are, it will require server siding (Not sure what it's called, but it has to have an external server connected) since it will have the original topics redirected to another specific forum (Due to the maintaining of the 0 and 0 state of the specified forum and the hide tag won't help with it because it'll be a different view once done) if you'd like this to function well and the JS formulated might clash with the other JS, disabling them to move and not able to be functional anymore.

Another problem would be that I don't think Forumotion is willing to have the members access the Advanced Template since it does belong to them.

So yeah, there's no possible solution unless you hide the forum itself. I'll try to see if I can think up a specific code without depending on the Advanced Template and formulate an own ID and other JS variables compatible of my own for it that wouldn't destroy or bug your server/website in any manner. For now, maybe you can suggest it and the fact that this still doesn't have a solution won't really help unless done with the former solutions stated above :/.

So you don't have the tips or way to do it? Maybe it is good for view and not able to reply the garbaged topics? Very Happy
