Log in problem

Post by Glazella on November 30th 2012, 8:10 am

Hello! One of our forum member's can't log since a week ago. I checked his account and it is perfectly okay. No member has been banned already too. He sent me this: http://www.onlineguardian.net/certify.php?url=www.jiyeonworldwide.com which appeared on his browser every time he tries to log in. He can't also make a new account. What seems to be the problem and how can we solve it?

See the part where the online guardian is placed in the link?

It would seem like the person's banned and be careful with your forum 'cause it might be next Smile

Ask him if he can contest his log in but please take note it will be hard or have slim chance for him to be able to re-log in again unless he uses a different computer or change IP's which would prolly do or may not do good Smile.

Please avoid to provide false informations to members.
That has nothing to do with the forum.

What happens when he tries to fill the captcha ? Can you please provide the username and email address of the user by PM ?
Thanks !

Oh, I thought that would also connect with the forum since the OG was in the link or something, anyway, my apologies. Won't do it again.

Hello, the page appearing concerned with Online Guardian is a security feature, read more here:
http://help.forumotion.com/t109976-spam-filter#720381

In case the member is stuck on filling the form, just PM Leeloo as she instructed above. Also you can prevent the blocking of new registration on some usernames by adjusting this option:
Admin Panel > General > Security :
Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames. : No
> Save

Sorry, but you have been reminded already via PM by me and several staff members about erroneous solutions that you post, it's just fine if you're helping with possible solutions but you've been providing some misleading information/solutions on some threads, you're receiving a warning for this. Please read the post first before providing a solution.
