Re: "Permissions" which involved running ?
No there is no solution. Its supposed to be like that. If you check it for members, it gets checked for all the other groups.

Re: "Permissions" which involved running ?
That forum must have used an auto-subscribe group with a 0 post requirement for members. If you choose to use that, then it is possible to achieve a similar effect.
Re: "Permissions" which involved running ?
Please don't double/triple post. Your post need to be separated by 24 hours before bumping, replying or adding more information. Please use the edit button instead. Since this is your third reminder, you will be receiving a warning. |
Check out this topic for restricted forums: https://help.forumotion.com/t38399-restricted-forums
And then simply combine that idea with auto-subscribe groups.
Re: "Permissions" which involved running ?
I don't understand, can you rephrase your question please?
Re: "Permissions" which involved running ?

Re: "Permissions" which involved running ?
I have already shown you the tutorial on how to do this: https://help.forumotion.com/t38399-restricted-forums
Create a group at:
1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Users & Groups Tab
3. Group Administration
Then, follow the tutorial so that you the correct permissions set up where new members can't view a particular forum.

Re: "Permissions" which involved running ?
hehe, like this
1. New Member, has not made a post
https://i.servimg.com/u/f47/17/57/69/93/untitl20.png
2. After Creating Post, it will be seen all
https://i.servimg.com/u/f47/17/57/69/93/111.jpg
What if the member is not selected, what they can not see the forum?
and what rank?
what can not be used?

Re: "Permissions" which involved running ?
Yes, that's entirely possible.
Uncheck 'View the forum' and 'Read the topics' for the forums you [b]don't[b] want the new members to see. Then, once they have made a post, they will automatically join the auto-subscribe group you've made.
After, make sure 'View the forum' and 'Read the topics' are now checked for that new group but not for 'Members'. That way, only members in the group can see the other forums.
