Forumotion Directory, Wrong Community
Hi,
I have a forum that's linked to the Dutch forumotion directory. The forum is English and I registered the forum on forumotion.com and not on the Dutch equivelant called actieforum.nl
Anyway, I am not interested in appearing in the Dutch directory because the forum is English. How can I transfer a forum from the Dutch community to the English community? I've searched this forum but I couldn't find any answers.
Thanks,
Castiel.

Re: Forumotion Directory, Wrong Community
I am not sure, i dont see any option to have it placed for a particular language?
I have not messed around with doing the directory in a while.
But seems you just select between categories and Participate in Forums directory along with Be referenced on www.motiontopic.net./forums search engine
I do not see anything as far as different nationality or language?

oh Ok thanx sanket

Hello,
I guess that your forum was created in Netherland, right ?
Please provide your forum's URL.

Yes!

I thought I made a mistake somehow, but when I tried it again with my friend on a new forum it was registered in the Dutch directory again.

Thanks, Leeloo!
I have a question though. How can I prevent this from happening in the future? Cause even though I had used English as the language, the forum still appeared in the Dutch directory.
Do you have to use an ip address from the States when creating a forum?

Re: Forumotion Directory, Wrong Community
No, that has nothing to do with the IP address but with the country from where you've created the forum.
The only way to change this is to provide me your forum's URL and ask for a creation language change.
Thank you !

Yes, but if I used an IP from England when creating a forum, wouldn't it help?
Cause the forum would believe my country of creation is England and not the Netherlands.
