how to make under construction page

To make your own

maintance page/under construction page

do this

got to your forum login as admin

goto> adminpanel>Modules>HTml&Javascript>html page mangement

create html page

do the following

put in the following


<img src="http://www.nteprojects.com/images/img8029683.jpg" alt="under maintance">


*NOTE replace img url of your own construction img*


mine looks like this -->


that to get picture on the page


then go to http://mycountdown.org/

create the countdown on that site so users know how long until your site will be reopen

copy the code from the site and paste in to your

html page

up the top of the page click use as home page

then go back to the html page

and enter the following

Code:

<a href="http://www.forumotion.com" target="_blank">forumotion.com</a>


then click submit then your page will be active

so when you go to your site

eg http://yoursite.forumotion.com


your see your site construction page

How to remove the construstion page do the following

go to the admin utilles

https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/


login

then click direct access to your admin panel

once in your site admin panel go to

>Modules>HTml&Javascript>html page mangement

click the gear on the high lighted page

click use as a home page click NO

then submit then done

your site back to normal
