Re: Quick reply smiley box
Guests can't post so they can't see the quick reply box or the smilies. Perhaps a screenshot of the problem would be more useful.
Re: Quick reply smiley box
Hi mermaid,
I've opened Forum Coffee Break so you will be able to get in to see what the situation is with the smiley box on the Quick Reply
Thanks

Mermaid: Is that the Quick Reply, because I did not see it when I visited the forum?

Re: Quick reply smiley box
I believe ICriss is talking about the Quick Reply editor not the full editor which you get when you press the New Post or Reply buttons.

OK. Sorry, I can't see that either then.
Re: Quick reply smiley box
It is the quick reply monitor, it sits on the box, instead of at the side, and shows incomplete, is there anything else I can do so you can see it...
I don't know how to do a screenshot sorry...
Thanks

Re: Quick reply smiley box
Either you do not have Quick Reply on or guests are not allowed to see the Quick Reply, because I do not see it.ICriss wrote:http://atozchat.forumactif.com/

Icriss, I have "Invision", so It may be different for you, but go to:
AP>General>Messages & E-mails>Configuration. In the "Messages" box, scroll down to "Allow quick reply" and hit "Yes", then "Save".

I'll check that now again, but we do have the quick reply, it just doesn't show properly ie the ability to select pages 1 through 5 is missing....

Re: Quick reply smiley box
Hi Mermaid, I rechecked as you suggested, and everything is working....thanks, but I think everyone is missing the point...
Is there no-one in Support that can explain why the Quick Reply Smiley box only shows part of itself....there must be a reason why part of the smiley box is missing...it's not an unchecked box problem.....
and with respect it's no point in answering a question with yet another question. and my Forum is open to guests...I opened it last week, just click on the smiley and see what you get...
Criss
Yes sig I agree, but we're on different time zones, and this is getting frustrating, what should be a simple problem to solve is dragging on unnecessarily....
