Post by tsimenis on December 18th 2012, 2:08 pm

Hello!

I would like to add an advertisement over or under the Announcements.
Is it possible?

This is what I want to add

<object width="468" height="60">

Hello! Very Happy

Ok. Very Happy Add JS in PA > Modules > HTML and JavaScript > JS > Add new JS > Investiment > Subforums > and paste the code:
Code:
jQuery(document).ready(function(){jQuery('#info_open').after('<object width="468" height="60">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.fileden.com/files/2012/12/15/3376789/banner%20deep.swf">
<embed src="http://www.fileden.com/files/2012/12/15/3376789/banner%20deep.swf" width="468" height="60">
</embed>
</object>
    ')});
#info_open is where the code will be shown, in which case it subforums. Very Happy If you want somewhere else, simply add a variable of existing CSS forum and the effect works! Wink

You could do it through the templates, but depending on your version.

Is your forum version phpBB3?

Have you tried putting it into your announcements?

ACP --> Display --> Homepage --> Generalities --> Homepage message --> Add content there

Is this solved? If so, moderators (staff) like you to edit your first post and mark it as solved.
