Profile Music

Post by Zeedief on December 23rd 2012, 4:12 am

Hello~

I was thinking that users should be able to add their own music on their profiles. I'm not sure if there's already a way to do this, but I just think it would be a nice addition.

I voted no.

I have a tendency to vote against musical suggestions because I find it very annoying when music is played without me knowing. I normally have music playing already and so I find it rude when this happens. Smile

Not recommended to allow unless by default there's a mute button enabled. Only the person [member] viewing the Profile can play it if he or she would like to listen. Even then, there has to be a way to automatically mute the music as soon as the page is refreshed by the current viewer.

A perfect example of this are the ads that normally are read/ viewed when reading someone's Profile. All of a sudden members are forced to hear the ads. Why is this? Clicking another browser doesn't work because you can still hear it and if you happen to be listening to your favorite music station at the time, it causes severe issues. You are forced to click out of that Profile or Character Sheet page in order to cut it off. Some ads have a mute button but there are those who do not and this is getting ridiculous.

So I voted No to allow music to be heard.
