Solved Changing the 'new, old, closed' table position

Post by Pixielisje on December 29th 2012, 7:14 pm

Hey everybody!

I was looking around on the dutch forums and I saw this (see the red part):

The new messages, old message, this forum is closed, ... column is in the middle, normally it's on the left of the forum
I'd also like to have this column in the middle, between the subforum column and the last topic column.

Can somebody help me? (:
My forum version is phpbb2!

Thank you!

This is done in the PHPBB2 / PunBB templates editing, so it will be possible in your forum.

Hi,

As I understood, you want to move the "(No) new messages / Locked" column to left? Please post here your index_box template. Wink

Solved Re: Changing the 'new, old, closed' table position

Post by Pixielisje on December 30th 2012, 1:43 pm

I forgot to say something ^^'
I'd like to have the 'topics' and 'messages' column gone and the '(no) new messages / locked" column between the catogory things and the 'last message' column (: (So, I want it like the printscreen - My forum has it on the left, but I want it in the middle)

This is my Index_box template:
Code:
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" align="center">
   <tr>
      <td valign="bottom">
         <!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
         <span class="gensmall">{LAST_VISIT_DATE}<br />
         {CURRENT_TIME}<br />
         </span>
         <!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
         <div class="nav"><a class="nav" href="{U_INDEX}">{L_INDEX}</a>{NAV_CAT_DESC}</div>
      </td>
      <td class="gensmall" align="right" valign="bottom">
         <!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->

         <a class="gensmall" href="{U_SEARCH_SELF}">{L_SEARCH_SELF}</a><br />

Now replace all the index_box content with:
Code:
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" align="center">
  <tr>
      <td valign="bottom">
        <!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
        <span class="gensmall">{LAST_VISIT_DATE}<br />
        {CURRENT_TIME}<br />
        </span>
        <!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
        <div class="nav"><a class="nav" href="{U_INDEX}">{L_INDEX}</a>{NAV_CAT_DESC}</div>
      </td>
      <td class="gensmall" align="right" valign="bottom">
        <!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
        <a class="gensmall" href="{U_SEARCH_NEW}">{L_SEARCH_NEW}</a><br />
        <a class="gensmall" href="{U_SEARCH_SELF}">{L_SEARCH_SELF}</a><br />
        <!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
        <a class="gensmall" href="{U_SEARCH_UNANSWERED}">{L_SEARCH_UNANSWERED}</a>
      </td>
  </tr>
