basically im an admin on a forum and i am wondering how can i change my own name on a forum without making a whole new rank?

You can change it here:
Administration Panel > Users & Groups > Users > Search Users
Locate Admin and press it.
The next page is the profile page.
Change the name and press the save button.
Your title says change color. Do you want to change the color of the name or just change the name?
