Searching Through All IPs

I´m wondering if there´s a way to take an IP and search to figure if the person ever used/posted in the forum.

It´s like not knowing the name of someone, but just the IP.

If you have found one post from that IP, you can click the icon at the top of the post and find other users that have posted from that IP address, how many posts have been posted, etc... Although you can ban users by IP address, I do not know if searching for users by IP address is possible on forumotion.

I´ve got the IP address off some person from another site and wanted to know if he/she ever used my site and who due to what he/she did on the other site.

Currently that is not possible on forumotion. If the user is known for highly inappropriate behavior on another website, you could always ban that IP on yours, but you cannot currently search for users by IP address, as far as I know.

Yes, just banned the IP.
