Solved [PunBB] Light Theme by Matti_7 Issue

Post by SLGray Wed Jan 30 2013, 00:32

I have installed this special theme, but for some reason when you log out, the who's online area is out of place. I am not the only one who has posted about this issue in this thread - https://help.forumotion.com/t101357-punbb-light-theme . Here is a link to how it looks when you are logged out: [PunBB] Light Theme by Matti_7 Issue Untitl25

Hi,

Try searching for this code within your css:
Code:
dl.right {
font-weight: 700;
}

If you don't have it, try adding this:
Code:
dl.center {
font-weight: 700;
}

That code does correct the left list, but it does not place the whole area back in the who's online area.

I forgot there is one more issue with this theme. My forum does not have rounded corners like the screenshot has in the special theme topic.

My guess is it has something to do with the google translate script, try removing that and see if it fixes the issue, if it does then you can working on correcting the google script.

It is not the Translate code. I removed it and the who's online area was still messed up. I am not the only one who have had this issue. If you look at the special theme topic I linked to in the first post, you will noticed two other members posted the same thing.

Yeah I see that now, that is strange it only does that logged out, but that also might give a clue as to why this is happening. I see you posted this yesterday, I know a guy that could probably fix this in a matter of minutes and you probably know him, I could PM you his name not sure if I should mention it here, but hes a member here of this forum and has is own help forum.

Post by Sir Chivas™ Fri Feb 01 2013, 03:39

Hi,

I think I have found the solution to this issue. Alright, see that this code actually fixes some part to the issue:

Code:
dl.center {
font-weight: 700;
}

Although, the issue has been inside the template itself all this time.
Code:
{JAVASCRIPT}
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
<div id="pun-visit" class="clearfix">
  <ul>
      <li><a href="{U_SEARCH_NEW}">{L_SEARCH_NEW}</a></li>

Fine this part of the code inside your index_body:
Code:
<dl class="right">Who is online?<p></p><p>In total there is <strong>0</strong> user online :: 0 Registered, 0 Hidden and 0 Guests  :: 1 Bot<br>Registered Users: None
Simply change the class to; "center", so it'll be:
Code:
<dl class="center">Who is online?<p></p><p>In total there is <strong>0</strong> user online :: 0 Registered, 0 Hidden and 0 Guests  :: 1 Bot<br>Registered Users: None

That might do the trick. If it doesn't I have plan B already. thumleft

Hope this helps, salut.

PLAN B: Alright, I've seen that it doesn't fix this issue if it's centered. Try changing the class to; "fixed"

Once again, enjoy. Wink

dl.right {
-moz-transform: rotate(270deg);
-o-transform: rotate(270deg);
-webkit-transform: rotate(270deg);

margin-right: 25px;

Hi SLGray,

Did you somehow in a CSS style sheet code snippet like this:

Code:
dl.right {
-moz-transform: rotate(270deg);
-o-transform: rotate(270deg);
-webkit-transform: rotate(270deg);
font-weight: 700;
margin-right: 25px;
margin-top: 60px;
}

If so, delete.

And:

Code:
.right {
float: right;
}

If so, delete.

This messes up the log in who's online area. It might be a good idea to wait until the creator of the special theme logs on.
