FMChat issue

I've spent the past two days searching every combination of terms I could think of, as well as redoing things several times over.

My problem in short is that I can't get the FMChat button to show up on every page. I was doing a redesign on a test site, and everything works fine over there. The site I was working on had an old version of FMChat, and I got rid of all traces of it. Once I had the design done on the test site, I just went through each page in the ACP and copied over the settings and code, and now for some reason the button shows up inside of forums and topics, but not on categories or the index page.

Also a question: I noticed that the pop-up chat has custom buttons and some other neat things, but when I click the title to open the chat in it's own window, it's just the default chatbox. Is that supposed to happen, or did I miss something?
