Change default text colour for groups

Post by Macca_96 on February 4th 2013, 10:28 am

Yea I want to make it so all mods can all post in the same colour without them having to pick it manually when they post. Same for the admins and other groups. Is it possible? If so, how?

You could always change the background of staff members, so that it shows up differently.

Still looking for font color though.

In regards to my comment about changing the background, follow the tutorial provided in this link:

Still looking on font colour Smile

edit; I am sorry, friend. I have failed you. I cannot seem to figure out how to do it. I thought maybe playing with the javascript would come up with a solution, but I only succeeded in giving myself a headache. Unless someone else knows how, I'd say this is impossible Sad

Thats for a user. What about groups (eg admin, mod etc). That will save me having to edit it when ever i add someone to the group

Hm. That seems a lot more difficult than when I used to do it.

Here's how I did it;
    In the rank, do something like
    Code:
    <span class="admin">Administrator</span>

    That's, obviously, the name of the rank; then, in the javascript, make a new one titled whatever you'd like and set it to ALL PAGES. Then add this,
    Code:
    $(function() {
    $('div.post:has(".admin")').css('background-color','#000000');
    });

You can replicate that for each rank, and then it'll automatically apply it if they have the correct rank. The "class" you give each rank is solely up to you, but must be defined correspondingly to the javascript.
