Question about Permissions.

well, i have a problem with Permissions, i mean i want to let Moderators Lock topics,move topics,delete topics, but i couldn't do that, except when i put them Moderator of the board to manage it, few permissions i don't want moderators to do it, i need help with that.

Version: php 2 i think.
idk why i can't give permissions to moderator to Lock,move,delete topics without put them as Moderator on the board.

in the permission you need to check one of the category to make modaration

and to allow moderator to close,delete and move the topic

second, I know all what you said but what i mean is that Moderator is to Moderate a thread, but i want to give permissions like:
Lock forum Topics
Unlock forum topics
Delete topics
move topics.
that's what i mean, not by putting them Moderator of a thread, maybe i don't want to give them all access.
for Groups

Here when i put a group to Moderate a thread, they can lock,delete and move it, i mean they get all permissions.
but i don't want Admins group to delete topics i just want them to Lock and move topics nothing else. that's what i mean, i don't want to give fully permissions to groups.

You can set that in AP>>General>>Categories and forums>>Forum Permissions Control>>

On that page choose a forum to edit, and untick "Delete its own messages and attachments" by the moderator.
