NAVBAR Home Button URL not editable
Hi everyone!
My first post here!
Is it possible to make the home button go to a different URL.
http://earthionenergy.forumakers.com is the current URL.
What I want to do is create a forum.earthionenergy.com and then make the home button of the forum go to www.earthionenergy.com
The first part I know how to do using a CNAME, but the second part I have yet to find the answer to.
Any help greatly appreciated,
All the best,
Paul

Re: NAVBAR Home Button URL not editable
Home button is designated to the index unless you re name it by creating a new button.
The easiest option would be to create a new link and renaming and re-arranging the buttons on the nav bar by going to:
AP>Display>Headers & Navigation>Add customized menu
Hope it helped.

Re: NAVBAR Home Button URL not editable
Hi thanks for the tip Avery.
I am partially happy with the result.
The gripe I have is the new "Home" button and now the old home button which says "Forum" as my graphics both have the alt text "Home".
How can I resolve this?
Many thanks,
Paul

Re: NAVBAR Home Button URL not editable
Make a thread here: https://help.forumotion.com/f87-forum-buttons-icons
You must use the proper way to ask for graphics you can find the code here: https://help.forumotion.com/t110859-rules-of-the-graphic-design-section
Copy the code and make a new thread and fill it out.
Cheers,
Avery

Re: NAVBAR Home Button URL not editable
Hi, either I didn't explain very well or you misunderstood what I meant.
Is there a way to change the text that appears when hovering over the Navbars orignal "Home" button.
I had to change the graphic so it read "Forum".
However the text that shows when I hover over it reads Home and seems completely uneditable.
I would like it to say "Forum" or even nothing would work for me also.
Any help welcome.
Cheers,
Paul
