Solved Spacing for forum

Post by iPur3Talent on February 15th 2013, 3:32 am

How do you make that space that is above the banner open and at the bottom open on the support forum? My header goes straight to the top. I want it to be opened up like the support forum has it. How do I do that?

Is this the forum in question: http://projectrogue.forumotion.com/ ? There is a space at the top.

No, that is an old site.

The site in question is http://www.forumpeak.net

(Note: I purchased a domain name, that is why the .forumotion add-on is not in the domain)

Hello,

Try adding this to your CSS code:

Code:
body {
    margin-top: 40px;
}

You can change the 40px to a different number if you wish. The larger the number, the further down the page the body is shifted.

That worked but is there any way to make the bottom of the forum come up a bit? I tried doing...

Code:
body {
    margin-bottom: 40px !important;
}

But that didn't work.

For the bottom, please try this:

Code:
.conteneur_container_IE {
padding-bottom: 20px;
}
