Solved CSS name of this element?

Post by Soulmonster on February 15th 2013, 4:11 pm

Hi,

What is the CSS element of this element (shown in a red box)? I want to add some border and rounded corner to it and need to know what it is called in CSS. My forum is phpBB3. Thanks!

div.postbody

Edit: That didn't include the Profile. Try div.inner

Thanks, but no, that defines a smaller element within the element I want to style.

Yes, I edited post above. It should be div.inner

Hmm, I added the following to my CSS but it really doesn't seem to have made any difference:

Code:
.div.inner {
border-radius:8px;
-moz-border-radius:8px;
border-color:#ADADAD;
border-style:solid;
border-width:2px;}

Try this
Code:
div.post{
border-radius:8px !important;
-moz-border-radius:8px !important;
border-color:#ADADAD !important;
border-style:solid !important;
border-width:2px !important;
}

That worked, but something is wrong with the corners. Look at the image below, you can see the corner of a post and a corner of a widget. Both these two elements are styled with the same CSS code and should therefore be identical. But the post corner is not rounded and there are some white pixels there.

Add this to your css & check if that changes anything.
Code:

span.corners-top {
    display: none !important;
}
span.corners-bottom {
    display: none !important;
}

It did! Thanks Smile

EDIT: wait, it caused some other glitch. I will take a screen shot and show.
